DSCF0723Jamaican STYLE lager?  It’s like they’re not even trying to trick me into thinking this is actually from Jamaica.  In Jamaica, it’s brewed by Desnoes & Geddes Limited in Kingston.  They sold a licence to Diageo Canada, with headquarters in Toronto.  Diageo brews this beer in the Moosehead brewery in Saint John.  You could earn an MBA just by studying this beer.  It strikes me as funny that the “DG” logo of Desnoes & Geddes appears on the can, when all they can take credit for is beer’s name.  So, how’s the beer, James?  It’s got a pretty standard lager taste, but a bit too watery for what I like.  I bet if you’re in Jamaica you’ll appreciate the thirst-quenchiness and fast-drinkiness of a watery beer, but I’m drinking this for flavour, and there’s not much flavour here.  It’s not a bad flavour, there’s just not quite enough of it.  Say, do you think that the words I’m making up will ever make it to the dictionary?
