Konrad 12° Red at the Kavárna Obecní dům

DSCF0326Obecní dům, Náměstí Republiky 5, Prague, Czech Republic

This is the most attractive place I’ve had a beer here in Prague.  Check (no pun intended) their photo gallery if you don’t believe me.  This café has been restored to what it would have looked like when it opened in 1912, as the idea of an independent Czech state gained ground and an explosion of the arts came with it.  On a whim, I ordered the beer being advertised on the table card: first a red (shown) and then a dark.  Both were good, but the dark was more to my taste.  Maybe the beer was just average but I’m loving the Prague experience.  This is why I can’t review beers, I just drink them and talk about drinking them.
