Tuborg Pure Gold

No, that’s not a typo.  While the front of the can says “Copenhagen”, the side of the can tells me that this iconic Danish beer was brewed under licence in far-off Turkey on the shores of the Aegean Sea.  I wonder if the royal Danish court knows that?  I’m talking to you, Queen Margrethe!  As beers go, this is not my favourite…it has a slightly stale “from the can” taste and reminds me of the strong pilsners of central Europe.  What’s more, their web site doesn’t work in my browser.  Oh well, I’ll have to move on to some other web site and some other beer.  Meanwhile, you can check the fine print on the label of that beer you’re drinking.
